A Year of Stories/Week 35

My last A Year of Stories post for summer 2016. Always bittersweet when summer comes to an end.

We spent the week getting ready for school and soaking in the last few days before the schedule kicked in.
The weather even gave us a taste of Fall!

And of course I took the obligatory first day of school portraits this morning as they headed out the door and a shot of the calm after they were gone.
And now I'm sitting here missing them. And my big girl too. Wah wah wah.

Up next in our group is the talented Renee Bonuccelli! Don't forget to follow all the way around the circle for some September inspiration!

See you next week!

6th Grade!

8th Grade!

And they're gone...

  2. I love following your weekends at Wintergreen; The Blue Ridge just make my heart sing! I love all of the colors and hues the farmer's market shots. The mountain reflection in the front door is pretty great, too!

  3. Thank you guys! And Meredith, that's actually not a reflection but Afton mountain behind the house. So cool how you can see through the door to the back with all the windows!
